We are recruiting for a freelance Design Manager for a Tier contractor in Slough. The role is to assist the bid team with detailed design analysis for initial bids on 2no. school schemes and also a 2nd stage scheme value approx £70 million and set up and oversee a small £2 million project landing on site in September. You will be working in the regional office with the precon team consisting of an estimator, planner, project manager and commercial manager to fully investigate the design, work with external consultants, meet and discuss subcontrcators to establish best practice for process and come up with robust design process and drawings for the schemes.
