We rely on you to:
- Welcome visitors, provide them with necessary information and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
- Handle incoming phone calls, provide information, take messages and direct calls to the relevant staff members.
- Act as a liaison between students, parents, staff and administration, facilitating communication and ensuring smooth operations within the school.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating parent-teacher conferences, ensuring that appointments are scheduled efficiently and providing necessary information to parents and teachers.
- Order and maintain school supplies, such as stationery, forms, and other materials.
- Organise and support school events, such as assemblies, fundraisers, open houses, or parent information sessions.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as handling correspondence, filing documents, managing mail, and maintaining student records.
Preferred skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact with students, parents, staff and visitors in a clear and professional manner.
- Efficiently managing time and resources to handle various responsibilities promptly and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented to help accurately maintain records, handle paperwork and ensure that all necessary information is recorded correctly.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with student records and other private matters.
Personal Attributes:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
