Your Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality Science curriculum across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5 (A-Level) teaching for the right candidate.
- Inspire curiosity through complex practical experiments-from observing cellular structures to testing chemical reactions.
- Foster a disciplined yet creative classroom environment where every student feels empowered to succeed.
- Use data-driven insights to track progress and prepare Year 11 students for their upcoming GCSEs.
- Collaborate with an expert team of technicians and fellow Science teachers to share best practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- A strong degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting.
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to apply).
