Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students who may find Science challenging.
- Track student progress and implement effective interventions to ensure no student is left behind.
- Maintain a safe and organised laboratory environment in accordance with CLEAPSS guidelines.
- Attend parents' evenings and contribute to the school's extra-curricular "Science Week" activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A relevant degree in a Science-based subject.
- A resilient and patient approach to classroom management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to apply).
