Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons tailored to the needs of students in the Tendring area.
- Prepare students for their AQA or Edexcel GCSEs, focusing on core practicals and scientific literacy.
- Maintain a positive, high-energy classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, such as STEM clubs or local community projects.
- Work closely with the Science Technician team to ensure all experiments are safe and effective.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a must.
- A strong degree in a Science discipline.
- The ability to build strong relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to apply).
