As a Science Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for:

- Implementing a "spiral curriculum" that builds deep substantive and disciplinary knowledge.
- Utilising the academy's consistent lesson structure: Do Now, I Do, We Do, You Do, and Test.
- Fostering a "Science Capital" approach to make the subject relevant and meaningful for all students.
- Maintaining high expectations for student behaviour and attainment in line with academy policy.
What We Are Looking For

- A relevant undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level in an 11-18 urban school setting.
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and AQA specifications.- Excellent communication and ICT skills, with the ability to use interactive technology to enhance learning.
- A proactive, reflective approach to teaching and a commitment to "working like a scientist."
Why Join This Academy?
Supportive Environment: Be part of a federation that offers world-class training and a strong culture of collaboration.
Stability: Unlike day-to-day supply, this is a long-term placement allowing you to build meaningful relationships with students and staff.
Wellbeing: We are committed to ensuring our staff never "burn out." This part-time schedule (Mon/Tue) offers a consistent and predictable routine.
