We are looking for qualified Supply Teachers to work in a Secondary School located in Witham to start as soon as possible. Working as a supply teacher gives you access to a number of schools and often leads to other opportunities.
For those who are just starting out as a teacher this is a perfect way to gain valuable experience that looks great on a CV.
Through working as a supply teacher you will have the flexibility to choose the days you work and these roles could lead to long-term and permanent roles in our schools.

Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
- Deliver a range of lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
- Having control over a whole class and maintaining discipline
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
- Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs.
- Dedicated interest in children's education and creating the best learning environment.
- Positive outlook and attitude.
- Liaise with other members of staff in regards to student well being and behaviour
- Knowledge of various teaching methods.
- Safeguarding all children
Requirements :
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- A degree qualification in teaching (PGCE) along with a QTS
- Eligibility to work in the UK(sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Being passionate about teaching and learning
- Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children and young people where necessary
