Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-impact, engaging lessons across your subject specialism (Years 7-11).
Prepare students for GCSE success with tailored revision strategies and emotional support.
Create a high-expectations learning environment that is inclusive of all abilities and EAL needs.
Implement consistent and effective classroom management that promotes a culture of respect.
Monitor student progress closely, using assessment data to drive targeted interventions.
Collaborate with departmental colleagues to share best practices and innovative teaching ideas.
Participate in the wider school life, including parents' evenings and enriching extra-curricular activities.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience teaching your subject specialism within a UK Secondary school.
Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum and specific Exam Board requirements.
A proactive approach to "Assessment for Learning" to ensure student progress.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with teenagers.
