We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at an SEN school in Croxton. About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be a vital part of the classroom, working closely with teachers and other staff to support pupils' academic progress, personal development, and overall well-being. Your role is to help cultivate a safe, positive, and inclusive space where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to pupils, both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Help with the preparation of lessons and classroom activities.
- Encourage and assist pupils in developing their independence, communication, and social skills.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- Work as part of a team with colleagues and external professionals.
- Supervise pupils during breaks and lunch periods.
- Ensure all safeguarding procedures are upheld to promote the welfare of every child.
What We're Looking For
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- A current Child DBS on the update service.
- Prior experience working with children or young people, with a preference for an SEN setting.
- A calm, caring, and adaptable nature.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
