The Role

• Sensory & Learning Support: Provide tailored assistance to students with ASD, ADHD, or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
• Calm Intervention: Lead small-group "breakout" sessions to help students manage sensory overload or anxiety.
• Classroom Partnership: Work closely with the class teacher to ensure that learning materials are accessible and engaging.
• Holistic Care: Support the development of life skills and social confidence, helping students prepare for life beyond school.

The Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a school, care, or support-work setting is highly valued.
• Temperament: A calm, patient, and empathetic nature is essential for this rural school environment.
• Proactive Approach: The ability to anticipate a student's needs and act before challenges arise.
• DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Transport: Due to the rural nature of Little Bentley, a car is essential for this location.
