What you'll bring:
Proven experience in residential construction, ideally with some supervisory responsibilities.
A strong background in a construction trade (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical).
A valid CSCS Card
A valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate
A valid First Aid at Work certificate
A proactive and problem-solving approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
The desire to learn, adapt, and progress within a supportive team.
What you'll be doing:
As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll work closely with the Site Manager, assisting with the day-to-day operations of our new residential site in Newmarket. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising on-site activities and ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
Monitoring health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
Assisting with quality control and ensuring high standards of workmanship.
Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Supporting the Site Manager in all aspects of site management, from planning to completion.
Helping to resolve any on-site issues efficiently and effectively.
