We expect you to:
- Provide clear direction, delegate tasks, and inspire others to work towards common goals.
- To ensure that the school and grounds are in a good state of repairs and appearance
- To ensure the security, health and safety and cleanliness of the school is maintained
- Remove waste that requires safe handling procedures Waste separation to comply with reuse and recycling processes Removing waste classified as unsanitary, hazardous and/or dangerous.
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school; appreciate and support the role of other professionals; participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
- To deal with repairs and maintenance that may arise as a result of accidents, emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances and liaise with School Business Manager / Senior Leaders and other asset management within the borough etc..
- Building positive relationships with staff, students, and other stakeholders is important for creating a supportive and collaborative work environment.

- Integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures, and act in the best interests of the school and its community.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to adjust plans and strategies as needed to meet evolving needs and challenges.
Personal Attributes:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
