About the Role
This position involves teaching Spanish to students across various grade levels, from introductory to advanced. The successful candidate will be a creative educator who can make the language come alive through immersive techniques, cultural exploration, and communicative activities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, high-quality Spanish lessons tailored to different proficiency levels and learning styles.
- Develop and implement a communicative curriculum focused on listening, speaking, reading, writing, and cultural understanding.
- Assess student performance regularly using a variety of methods and provide constructive, timely feedback.
- Integrate relevant technology and authentic materials (music, film, literature) into the classroom experience.
- Contribute to the vibrant life of the school by participating in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities (e.g., advising a Spanish or Culture Club).
- Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and curriculum goals.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an educator who is not only fluent in Spanish and proficient in teaching methodology but also someone who can serve as an enthusiastic cultural ambassador.
- Native or Near-Native Fluency in Spanish and excellent command of English.
- A degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish to middle and/or high school students.
- Deep understanding of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and proficiency-based instruction.
- Proven ability to manage a positive, inclusive, and effective classroom environment.
- A collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute positively to a supportive team.
- A genuine passion for the language, the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world, and the growth of every student.
