The school is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and culturally sensitive Spanish Teacher to join their successful Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Department. The Role: Spanish Teacher
We are looking for a teacher who can immerse students in the Spanish language and the diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world, guiding them from introductory levels through to fluency at the advanced stage.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, communicative Spanish lessons across all key stages, including advanced level courses (e.g., GCSE, A-Level, IB, or equivalent).
- Develop students' proficiency in the four key skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) using engaging and authentic materials.
- Integrate cultural studies into the curriculum, broadening students' understanding of Spanish and Latin American societies.
- Assess student progress regularly and effectively, providing detailed feedback to accelerate language acquisition.
- Contribute to the creation and development of innovative departmental schemes of work and up-to-date teaching resources.
- Organize and participate in enriching extra-curricular activities, such as language clubs, film screenings, or potential international trips/exchanges.
- Maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages risk-taking and confidence in oral communication.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who is a fluent linguist, a charismatic classroom leader, and a dedicated advocate for the benefits of learning a foreign language.
- A degree in Spanish, MFL, or a closely related field.
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native level) and excellent pronunciation.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to a high standard, ideally up to A-Level or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of current curriculum specifications and effective language teaching methodologies.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve linguistic excellence.
- A commitment to cross-curricular collaboration and promoting a global perspective across the school.
