Description
Randstad Student Support Team seeks a passionate Specialist Study Skills Tutor to support students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs) at Epsom. As part of the eligibility criteria for this role, we require candidates to have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.
If you have not yet completed these modules, don't worry - we are happy to support you in obtaining them. You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately £180 per hour, and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop individualized learning plans; provide academic support in organization, time management, and research skills; guide students in effective learning strategies; collaborate with university staff; assess student progress and adapt learning plans; utilize online teaching technologies; maintain accurate student progress records; contribute to support services development.
QualificationsProven teaching experience with SPLDs; relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent); experience supporting autistic students; minimum undergraduate degree (Level 6); extensive autism training (NAS modules or equivalent); excellent communication and mentoring skills; proficiency in online teaching technologies; commitment to inclusive education.
