Randstad Student Support Team seeks a passionate and dedicated Specialist Study Skills Tutor to support students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs). As part of the eligibility criteria for this role, we require candidates to have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.
If you have not yet completed these modules, don't worry - we are happy to support you in obtaining them. You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately £180 per hour, and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.
ResponsibilityWhat will you be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing individualized learning plans for students with SPLDs.* Providing academic support in organization, time management, and research skills.* Guiding students in developing effective learning strategies.* Collaborating with university staff to create a supportive learning environment.* Assessing student progress and adapting learning plans.
Specifically the activities will be:
- Utilizing online teaching technologies.* Maintaining accurate records of student progress.* Contributing to the development of support services for students with SPLDs.
