Lead and develop individualized learning plans for students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD) in a supportive and flexible environment.
Role & Responsibilities
You will provide high-quality, one-to-one academic support to students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD), developing and implementing personalized learning plans. You will guide students in enhancing their organization, time management, research, comprehension, reading, and writing skills, building on their strengths and fostering independence. You will offer both in-person and online sessions flexibly, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
Main tasks include
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Guide students in improving learning strategies and independence.
- Enhance students' organizational, time management, and research skills.
- Support improvements in comprehension, reading, and writing.
- Collaborate with Randstad and the client to ensure excellent student service.
- Membership with BDA, ADSHE, Dyslexia Guild, or PATOSS.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with students with SPLDs (desirable).
- Strong organizational skills and reliability.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Capacity to identify and support students' learning strengths.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to offer both in-person and online sessions.
While experience is desirable, it is not essential. We are committed to supporting your professional development with opportunities for CPD/eLearning. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £28 plus accrued holiday pay.
