We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Specialist Study Skills Tutor. This role requires a proven track record of success in supporting students' academic progress.
- Membership with BDA, ADSHE, Dyslexia Guild, or PATOSS is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Experience working with students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs) is desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are a must.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism is paramount.
What will you be doing?
As a Specialist Study Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student. You will work closely with students to enhance their study skills, organizational abilities, and time management techniques. A typical day might involve creating personalized learning plans, conducting in-person or online tutoring sessions, collaborating with other professionals, and maintaining accurate records.
- Developing and implementing personalized learning plans.
- Providing in-person and online tutoring sessions.

- Enhancing comprehension, reading, and writing skills.
- Collaborating with Randstad and the client.
