We are seeking committed individuals to assist students navigating the challenges of higher education, particularly those with diverse needs including hearing and vision impairments, physical disabilities, and SpLD. Your contribution will be instrumental in cultivating student independence, advancing their academic journeys, and ensuring a truly accessible learning experience.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide crucial support and reassurance to students transitioning into university life and academic rigours.
- Motivate students and foster their academic drive.
- Assist students in understanding and adapting to university routines and structures.
- Champion the development of student independence, communication skills, and peer/staff interaction.
- Guide students in implementing effective strategies for workload management, organisation, and time management.
- Liaise with Randstad and the Disability Support Team to ensure comprehensive student support and well-being.
- A Degree or equivalent qualification.
- A solid understanding of the Higher Education landscape.
- Insight into the barriers faced by disabled individuals in higher education.
- Demonstrable experience and a high level of skill working with disabled individuals.
- A proactive, independent work ethic.
- Keen attention to detail.
- A strong commitment to equality of opportunity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and punctuality.
- Proficiency in organisational skills.
