Do you have a passion for supporting neurodiverse students and a knack for teaching effective study skills? Randstad Student Support is seeking a compassionate and skilled Study Skills Tutor to join our team at the The Brighton Academy (Brighton Campus)
As part of the eligibility criteria for this role, we require candidates to have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.
If you have not yet completed these modules, don't worry - we are happy to support you in obtaining them. You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately £210 (One time Payment), and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.
About the Role
As a Study Skills Tutor, you will play a vital role in empowering neurodiverse students to achieve their academic goals. This part-time position offers flexible hours and a competitive salary of £28 per hour, plus £3.38 accrued holiday pay. We provide comprehensive support to obtain the necessary National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules (approx. £210 one-time payment).
- Develop and implement personalized study plans.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with:
- Postgraduate qualification and relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, PGDE, AFHEA or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals (preferred, but not essential).
- Patience, empathy, and understanding of neurodiverse needs.
