Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in creating a positive and productive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Offering tailored support to individual pupils and small groups, helping them overcome learning barriers.
Supporting the class teacher with daily tasks, including setting up activities and organising the learning space.
Utilising proactive and positive strategies to reinforce good behaviour and a positive classroom atmosphere.
Providing consistent encouragement and helping to build pupils' confidence and independence.
Assisting with the tracking of pupil progress and providing feedback to the teacher.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable, or you must have significant, demonstrable experience in a primary school setting.
An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
The legal right to work in the UK without any restrictions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient and resilient approach to working with young children.
A genuine desire to make a difference in pupils' lives.
