We are urgently seeking adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic Supply Teachers for General Cover roles starting immediately.

This is the perfect opportunity for experienced teachers seeking a better work-life balance, or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience in different school settings.

As a General Cover Supply Teacher, your main priority is classroom management and ensuring students remain on task. You will not be expected to be a subject specialist in every lesson.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects (Key Stage 3 & 4).
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Leaving handover notes for the returning class teacher.
• Zero planning and Zero marking required.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Flexibility to work on short notice (morning calls).
• A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Access to a vehicle is advantageous due to the location of some schools in the Tendring area.
