• Days - £18.00 p/h
• Waking Night - £20.00 p/h
• Sleep in - £13.69 p/h

Job Summary
This role involves providing specialist, trauma-informed support to vulnerable children and young people within residential and community settings across Portsmouth. You will be instrumental in creating a safe and nurturing environment, managing challenging behaviors, and offering continuous support. Experience

• Proven experience supporting children/young people in a residential setting.
• Experience in using de-escalation techniques.
• Experience with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Skills

• Ability to manage challenging behaviours calmly and effectively.
• Flexibility to work in various settings.
• Reliability, resilience, and keen observation skills.
• Strong reporting and communication abilities.
• A driver's license with business insurance is highly desired.

Eligibility criteria:

• Minimum of 6 months UK , HCA - Health care assistant experience in the past 3 years [Preferably in the NHS]
• Full in-date DBS
• Right to work in the UK
• Upto date Mandatory Training
