Support Worker
Glenmore Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and physical disabilities in the Carlisle area. The successful candidate will support individuals to live as independently as possible, both within their homes and in the community. A driving license is preferred due to the rural location of some service users. This is an urgent position and the hiring process will move quickly for suitable applicants. Immediate availability is preferred.

- Shift: Day shift with sleep-in shifts. 08:00 - 20:00 day shift with Sleep in - then 07:00 - 10:30
- Salary: Weekdays: £13.68; Weekend/Nights: £15.77; Sleep in: £64.98 PAYE ROLLED UP

The Support Worker will provide person-centered care, assisting service users with daily living activities, personal care, and community integration. Responsibilities include:
- Medication administration
- Supporting social and recreational activities
- Maintaining accurate records
- Promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users
- Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
- Minimum 6 months recent UK experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (child and adult) on the Update Service.
Please note: This role mandates a minimum of 36.5 hours per week. Therefore, we are unable to accept applications from individuals with a Skilled Worker visa, as the visa requirements may conflict with these hours.
