Teaching Assistants Needed | Bromborough
Due to rising demand across our local community, we are looking for motivated Teaching Assistants to join our secondary schools in Bromborough and surrounding areas of Wirral.
Duties:
- Working with small groups of students to help them catch up in core subjects.
- Helping the teacher set up the classroom and get equipment ready for lessons.
- Making sure students stay on task and follow the classroom rules.
- Helping out with playground or break time supervision.
- Assisting students with their reading and writing skills.
- Checking that students have the right books and equipment for the day.
- Helping to display student work on classroom walls and boards.
- Escorting students between classes or on local school trips.
- Handing out worksheets and collecting completed assignments.
Skills Needed:
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas in simple, engaging ways.
- Resilience and patience when handling the fast-paced secondary school environment.
- An adaptable nature, ready to support different subjects and year groups throughout the day.
- Strong teamwork skills to work closely with teachers and school staff.
- Comfort using classroom technology and digital learning tools.
