Teaching Assistant- West Kirkby

The Teaching Assistant role is a vital and engaging position where you will be instrumental in supporting student learning and maintaining a dynamic classroom atmosphere. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure the smooth delivery of lessons and provide essential direct support, helping students to overcome academic hurdles and achieve their best potential. This is a rewarding role for someone with excellent interpersonal skills.
Location: West Kirby- CH48
Pay: £13.68 and £14.00 per hour
Duties:
... - Providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Assisting with lesson preparation, resource organisation, and classroom delivery.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Supervising students during various activities, including lunch breaks and school trips.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed by the class teacher.
Essential Requirements & Skills:
- A genuine passion for working with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to be a positive role model.
- Relevant experience working in a school environment is highly desirable.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required for all school work.
