Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant in Laindon, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and nurturing the educational development of our students across local primary and secondary schools. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one assistance to students, aiding in lesson preparation, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities
Individualised Support: Provide tailored assistance to students with varying abilities and learning needs.
Lesson Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging, interactive, and curriculum-aligned lessons.
Inclusive Environment: Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Progress Monitoring: Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to lead teachers.
Classroom Management: Help maintain a safe, orderly, and productive classroom environment.
Requirements
Enhanced DBS: A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
Passion for Education: A genuine desire to work with children and help them reach their potential.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated school team.
Experience: Previous experience working with children is preferred (e.g., coaching, tutoring, or volunteering) but not essential.
Attitude: A positive, proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Right to Work: Essential eligibility to work in the UK.
