About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work under the direction of class teachers and the SENCO to support learning in and out of the classroom. You'll assist students individually and in small groups, adapting your approach to meet varied learning styles and needs. You'll also contribute to classroom organisation, resource preparation, and monitoring student progress.
Whether you're supporting students with special educational needs, helping with lesson delivery, or reinforcing literacy and numeracy, you will be instrumental in helping learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
- Implement strategies and interventions under teacher guidance.
- Monitor and record student progress and report back to teachers.
- Support pupil's emotional, social, and behavioural development.

Requirements:
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
- Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or willingness to work towards one).
- Previous experience in a school or youth work setting is desirable.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A current enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
