We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Haywards Heath. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tailored Support: Work closely with students individually or in small groups, providing tailored support and guidance based on their unique learning needs.
- Champion Differentiated Instruction: Assist with implementing differentiated instruction strategies, adapting learning materials and activities to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Support Engaging Lesson Delivery: Collaborate with the teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons, assisting with activities, managing resources, and ensuring all students are actively involved.
- Foster Positive Classroom Management: Contribute to a positive and productive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques, establishing clear expectations and routines.
- Guide Behaviour Positively: Employ proactive and positive behaviour management strategies to create a respectful and inclusive classroom where all students feel safe and supported.
- Embrace Flexible Teaching: Demonstrate adaptability and a flexible teaching approach, adjusting to changing classroom dynamics and student needs with ease.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate openly and effectively with the teacher, sharing observations, feedback, and collaborating to create a cohesive learning experience for all students.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in education or child development are a plus.
