The Randstad Scheduler app allows you to view all available shifts that match your experience, skill set, and location, at any time! You can use the 'Find Work' feature to view available shifts and apply for them. If you are allocated a shift that you have applied for, you will receive a notification and it will appear as a shift in the app. Please be aware that the requirements of our clients change regularly and we endeavour to allocate work evenly across our talent pool, so you may not be successful with every application that you make through Find Work.

what is Randstad Scheduler?
It is a mobile phone app that gives our talent exclusive access to our available jobs and shifts. You can explore available roles or receive invitations by our consultants to work that matches your skills. The app will replace MySirenum.

can I still use MySirenum?
After the Randstad Scheduler app goes live, you can still access MySirenum however there will be no future updates or jobs available to apply to in the MySirenum app.

where can I download the new randstad scheduler app?
During the weekend of 31st August and 1st September, you will be sent an email asking you to set your password for the app, which will then redirect you to directly to the Randstad Scheduler app in the App Store or GooglePlay Store.

when will the new randstad scheduler app work on my phone?
From the 2nd September, you will start to see jobs and shifts appearing in the Randstad Scheduler.

who can help me if something isn't working?

Yes! We have training videos and guides available to show you how to use the Randstad Scheduler app.

how do I apply for a job or shift?
You will receive job offers through Randstad Scheduler in much the same way as Sirenum. When a job or shift is advertised to you, you will receive a push notification and depending on the job or shift, you will either be able to accept, apply or decline the job offer.

what is 'Ask for Work'?
Ask for Work allows you to let us know that you're available and would like work today.

what is 'Find Work'?
Find Work allows you to see open jobs and shifts that match your skills, experience and expertise. If you find a vacancy you like, you can apply to this vacancy and your consultant will be notified of your application. You will be informed of the outcome of your application.

how do I know if I have got the job or shift I applied for?
You will be informed of the outcome of your applications with a status within your app when it is under review and via a push notification to your app and an email to inform you whether you were successful or not.

where can I see my upcoming work?
Once you open the app and log in, you will see jobs and/or shifts you are booked in to starting in the future. By scrolling down you can see your future jobs and shifts and any in-progress applications made through the app. You can also scroll up to see any jobs or shifts you have worked in the past.

how do I let Randstad know that I am available for work?
You can do this in two ways using the app. 1) Use the 'Ask for Work' function to update your availability for the current day. 2) Use the calendar view where you will find a + symbol on the top right of your screen. Here you can add days when you are unavailable for work. The system will assume you are available unless you inform us otherwise. If you would like to receive more applicable jobs and shifts that match your availability, it is advised you regularly check and update any times and days you are unavailable for work.

will the new app use more data?
Slightly, yes. The Randstad Scheduler app takes up 36MB of storage on your phone. However, it is still a relatively small amount of storage for an app. For example, Uber takes up just under 600MB.

do I need to pay for the app?
No. The Scheduler app is free to use.
 - 
how do I refresh the app?
Double tap the calendar icon in the bottom left to refresh the app - you may need to do this if you have the app open and jobs are not appearing.

how do I know if I've been successful in applying for a job?
The job will show as either confirm or confirmed.

i didn't receive the welcome email to set my password & download the app
Please speak to your Randstad contact, they'll be able to resend you the link.

i've forgotten my password
Click on 'forgotten password' to reset.

i've been assigned shifts, but they are not appearing
Check the homepage, double tap the refresh button. If the shifts still don't appear, speak to your Randstad contact, they may need to check that the shift has been published to you.

i didn't receive a notification about a new role to apply for
Ensure you close the app when you've finished using it to allow notifications to be sent to you correctly. Check your device settings to ensure you have allowed notifications from the app.

i can only see future shifts for the next 12 weeks but my booking is for longer than that
Shifts are visible up to 12 weeks in advance - if your job is for longer than 12 weeks, you'll start to see them appear 12 weeks before.

i have to enter my log in details every time I visit the app
Make sure you tick the 'remember me' box when you log in. You may also be logged out if you are mid action e.g. logging your availability. Make sure you return to the main schedule before logging out.

i need to change my email address - how do I update this in the app?
Speak to your Randstad contact and they can update your details.
