The Lighthouse Charity is uniquely positioned as the only charity dedicated to providing emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families.

They offer a free 24/7 helpline which provides a range of guidance and support on a huge variety of wellbeing issues.

5-a-side football

We are excited to announce our upcoming client networking event: the 2026 Randstad CPE 5-a-side football tournament!

This year, we are heading to the Shepherd's Bush in London on Thursday 24th September to bring together our clients in support of the Lighthouse Charity.

Swap the boardroom for the pitch and help us raise funds for an incredible charity!

How many players can be in a squad?

Teams can register up to 8 players in total, consisting of 5 players on the pitch and up to 3 rolling substitutes.
What is the tournament format?

The tournament features a fast-paced format with 20 teams split into 4 groups of 5. Each match is 10 minutes long with 2-minute changeovers
What is the skill level of the tournament?

We welcome players of all skill levels! The tournament is all about having fun and provides a strategic, non-corporate environment to facilitate informal networking between our key clients and consultants.
Do we need to bring our own kit?

We provide bibs, but we highly encourage teams to wear matching shirts or corporate kits if you have them.
When and where will the tournament take place?
Event Schedule: Thursday, 24th September 2026
- 1:30 PM: Client arrival and introductory networking at the bar.
- 2:00 PM: Pitches open and official tournament kick-off.
- 5:00 PM: Tournament matches conclude.
- 5:15 PM onwards: Continued networking and awards presentation.
Is there a registration fee?

No, entry into the tournament and networking lounge is completely free. However, the event proudly supports the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, the only charity dedicated to providing emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to the UK construction workforce. While there is no fee to play, we strongly encourage all participating teams and players to make a voluntary donation to the Lighthouse Charity to support their vital 24/7 helpline work
