As a recently qualified Social Worker, I registered with Randstad as I was eager to find some employment, embark on my career and put my new knowledge and skills into good use. I was unsure and anxious as to what employment prospects would be like for a newly qualified Social Worker and how long it might take me to find employment after what was a long and trying 2 years of studying. Well, I can say that I have been pleasantly surprised and that is all down to being registered with Randstad.
A day after emailing Randstad my CV, I was contacted by the manager Giuseppa to complete the registering process. This involved gathering relevant documentation and an informal meeting to find out more about my experience and what area of Social Work may be of interest to me - to better suit my preferences. I found the staff, particularly Giuseppa and Paul to be extremely helpful and informative with regard to answering any questions I had. I found they were also motivated to find me employment promptly, in and area of interest to me. Within a week they had found me a post that I currently find enjoyable and rewarding. I find Randstad to be very professional and always willing to go the extra mile. Their advice and support has made finding my first Social Work post a stress free experience. I would recommend Randstad to any Social Worker starting out who would like to have a steady income and gain experience in a range of areas.
