We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 teaching assistant to provide support to a student with additional needs, including autism and ADHD. This role involves working closely with the student to help them succeed in their learning goals.

Qualification/education

Relevant experience working with children with additional needs is essential. A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.

Experience

Previous experience working with children with additional needs, specifically autism and ADHD, is required. Experience with supporting students in a 1:1 setting is highly advantageous.

Skills

Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with autism and ADHD. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
