We've partnered with a great primary school in the LS13 area to find a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to support young learners and become an essential part of the school community.
What You'll Be Doing
Lending a hand to teachers with lesson delivery.
Supporting pupils one-on-one and in small groups.
Helping to manage the classroom and promote good behaviour.
Getting learning resources and materials prepared.
Supervising pupils during school time and breaks.
Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress.
Working with other staff members as a team.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a go-getter who really cares about helping kids grow! To be a great fit for this job, you should have:
A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification, or equivalent experience.
At least 6 months of recent experience in a UK primary school.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
A deep understanding of primary education and child development.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
A commitment to working well with a team.
A focus on safeguarding and child protection.
