Randstad Education is partnering with a Breakfast & After-School Club, to help find enthusiastic Activity Leaders around Braintree. As an Activity Leader, you will organise and lead activities for students (ages 4-11), ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment. You will also supervise excursions and support student welfare, helping create memorable experiences.

The roles are based at several Primary schools around the Braintree area, and the hours involved are 7:15am to 8:30am in the morning, and then 3pm to 6pm in the afternoon, Monday to Friday.

There are both long term roles and short term, casual days available, so if you are interested in either, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Role & Responsibilities:

• Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for the children in our care, from picking them up from school to safely deliver them back to their parents or caregivers.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports,games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more.
• Ensure all activities are age and skill-appropriate while prioritizing safety including the proper use of equipment and space.
• Provide refreshments for the kids while maintaining our high standards of hygiene and health and safety.
• Communicate professionally and authentically with team members, parents, children, and schools.

Requirements:

• Must have experience of working with 4-11 year olds.
• Should love creating meaningful moments for people and strive to understand their needs.
• Must be a Pro in problem-solving and should be able to handle feedback and complaints
• Should genuinely care about people and create unexpected experiences that make them go "wow!"
• Willingness to work well under pressure and excellent listener who can explain anything to anyone.
• Should maintain approach tasks with a can-do attitude, switching up priorities and thinking on your feet.
