Randstad UK is seeking experienced, dedicated, and passionate ALN Tutors to join our team in Wrexham and the surrounding areas. As an ALN specialist, you will provide high-quality, tailored tuition to students with diverse learning requirements across various year groups, ranging from Year 1 to Post-16.
We are looking for educators who thrive on making a positive difference in students' academic and personal growth by providing individualised support for both core subjects and social development.
Key Responsibilities- Specialised Tuition: Deliver sessions in Maths, English, and/or Science, following the UK national curriculum while adapting content for ALN requirements.
- Tailored Learning: Develop and implement lesson plans that cater specifically to each student's unique learning needs.
- Inclusive Environment: Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that builds students' confidence and self-esteem.
- Holistic Support: Work to build students' academic confidence, social skills, and overall success.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain ongoing communication with students and their families regarding progress and areas for further development.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience delivering tuition in Maths, English, and/or Science.
- ALN/SEN Expertise: Specific experience working with students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and adjusting approaches for accessibility.
- Curriculum Knowledge: A strong understanding of the current UK national curriculum.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with students.
- Compliance: A relevant teaching qualification and a DBS check on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one before employment.
