These duties relate to the oversight and development of the entire service area:

• Working alongside the existing post holder to set the strategic direction and develop operational plans for the integrated teams, ensuring alignment with Council priorities and statutory duties.
• Driving the delivery of the Adult Social Care Transformation Programme across the service areas
• Overseeing and monitoring team performance against key indicators (e.g., assessment timeliness, case closure rates, financial targets).
• Ensuring the highest standards of professional social work practice are maintained, including regular case file audits and quality assurance checks.
• Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements and other relevant legislation.
• Managing the allocated budgets for the operational teams, ensuring services are delivered in a financially efficient and sustainable manner
• Authorising high-cost placements and complex care packages, balancing need with resource availability.

Qualifications and requirements :

• Social work qualification
• Registered with SWE
• Full Driving License
