adult social worker - 4 years + (grade i).

We are looking for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Barnet. This role involves carrying out statutory safeguarding responsibilities, with a focus on Section 42 and Section 9 assessments, risk assessments, and applying the Mental Capacity Act (2005) in practice.

• Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries and Care Act Section 9 assessments

• Complete risk assessments and implement safeguarding measures

• Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 in all relevant decisions and documentation

• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team

• Liaise effectively with health professionals, police, and other safeguarding partners

• Ensure all actions and assessments are accurately documented and compliant with statutory frameworks

• Advocate for service users, ensuring person-centered and legally compliant outcomes

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in adult social care

• Proven experience in safeguarding and MASH settings

• Solid understanding of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005

• Strong decision-making, communication, and documentation skills

• Enhanced DBS check required
