The Opportunity: What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering Inspiring Content: You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging Art and Design lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), following the UK curriculum.
- Fostering Creativity: Guide students in developing their artistic abilities across various mediums, encouraging them to think critically and creatively.
- Collaborating with Your Team: Work closely with a skilled and supportive team of professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the success of the department.
- Full Teaching Responsibilities: Your role will include lesson planning, marking, student assessment, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
- Upholding School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare.
The Ideal Candidate: Who We're Looking For
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Art and Design or a related field.
- You have proven experience teaching the Art and Design UK curriculum at the secondary level.
- You possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- You are adaptable, reliable, and have strong communication skills.
- You have a passion for the arts and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
