We are looking for an inspiring Art Teacher to breathe life into the studio at a fantastic secondary school in the heart of North Wales. This isn't just a role to fill a gap-this school in Corwen is looking for a creative visionary to join them long-term, with a clear path to a permanent position.
Pay: £173 - £205 per day (Negotiable based on your portfolio and experience).
Skills You'll Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must be a fully qualified teacher.
- A deep understanding of the English curriculum.
- Ability to connect with students and explain complex ideas simply.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check is essential for this role or we can help you get one.
Duties:
- Design and lead immersive Art & Design lessons that get students excited to create.
- Mentor young artists as they experiment with everything from fine art to mixed media.
- Turn your classroom into a gallery of progress, showcasing student talent across the school.
- Provide the expert technical guidance needed for top-tier GCSE and A-Level results.
- Foster a space where every student feels confident to express their unique identity.
- Manage the studio environment, ensuring tools and materials are ready for every masterpiece.
