Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (mandatory).
- An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong communication skills and a deep knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and GCSE assessment criteria.
Key Duties:
- Teach students how to use different materials and techniques.
- Help kids find their own style and get confident with their work.
- Get Year 11s ready for their final art exams and deadlines.
- Make sure your lessons work for everyone, including students who need extra help.
- Give students clear advice on how to improve their sketches and projects.
- Work with the rest of the Art team to keep the department running well.
- Keep the art rooms organised, safe, and ready for work.
- Talk to parents about how their children are getting on.
- Help put up displays around the school to show off student work.
