Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Mid Sussex (Hybrid)
The Company:
A regional generalist building contractor working on a variety of new build, refit/refurbishment as well as maintenance and MEP contracts. Covering Surrey, Sussex, Kent and Greater London. Working on projects up to £1m
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with the Quantity Surveying team to review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential cost implications.
- Assist in the valuation of work completed, managing payment applications, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
- Support in the negotiation and settlement of variations, claims, and disputes, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve any cost-related queries.
- Assist in contract administration tasks, including contract drafting, review, and management.
