Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor ready to make a real impact on students' lives? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join a supportive school in Sefton. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting in September, working with students aged 11-16.About the RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in providing tailored support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students to provide consistent guidance.
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Helping students develop the skills and resilience they need to succeed academically and personally.
- Collaborating with teachers and school staff to ensure a cohesive support system.
We're Looking For
- A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a UK school setting, specifically with students aged 11-16.
- Demonstrated experience in addressing social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport with young people.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check or a willingness to apply for one.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
