Randstad Education is now looking for passionate people to work as Breakfast and After-School Club Managers around the Chelmsford area, to take care of Primary-aged children before and after school hours. You are responsible for our small ones' authentic, meaningful experiences by making sure they participate in enjoyable, stimulating, and imaginative activities in a welcoming and safe setting.
The roles are based at several Primary school locations around the Chelmsford area, and the hours involved are 7:15am to 8:30am in the morning, and then 3pm to 6pm in the afternoon, Monday to Friday.
There are both long term roles and short term, casual days available, so if you are interested in either, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting to manage clubs.
- Supporting the General Manager and team members within that site and ensuring the smooth running of the provision.
- you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities that children are interested in
- Provide regular progress updates to the class teacher and maintain records.

Requirements:
- Must have experience of working with 4-11 year old's.
- Should have an appropriate Level 3 qualification (childcare, sports coaching, education etc)
- Experience in managing small teams and demonstrating leadership and the ability to work with own initiative
- Possess a desire to create meaningful moments for children/people in your charge.
- Problem-solving skills and a patient demeanor are highly valued in this role.
- Ability to speak eloquently and should be able to communicate with all levels and explain about anything to anyone.
- A basic knowledge of IT is beneficial as registers and schedules are on ipad/laptop
- Paediatric first aid qualifications would be highly desirable but not essential
