The Business Development Executive (BDE) is a critical member of the Simoda team, focused exclusively on new customer acquisition and generating first-time revenue. You will be responsible for building a high-quality pipeline aligned with two of Simoda's core Solution Areas, which include Cloud (Microsoft 365), Cyber Security, Data & Automation, and Managed IT Support.
This is not a traditional account management role; it is a "hunter" position designed for those who thrive on identifying and qualifying new opportunities from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily outbound prospecting via cold calling, email sequencing, LinkedIn, and HubSpot automation.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture new customer opportunities within assigned technology sectors.
- Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to fuel the sales engine.
- Book high-quality discovery meetings for our Solution SMEs and Technology Consultants.
- Deliver clear, compelling value propositions that address specific customer challenges.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing for lead progression and with Technology Consultants for smooth customer handovers.
- Utilize ZoomInfo and HubSpot to build targeted prospect lists and manage the sales pipeline.
- Achieve and exceed daily activity targets and monthly KPIs for pipeline creation.
- Continuously refine outreach strategies to improve conversion rates and drive revenue.

Training & Career Progression
We value development. Simoda has partnered with Pareto to provide a 12-month professional qualification: the IT Technical Sales Apprenticeship (ITTSA). You will receive a mixture of sales and technical training designed to transition you from a BDE into a specialist Technology Consultant role.
Package & Location:
- Salary £28,000-£32,000 per annum.
- Commission: Earn commission on first-deal revenue from the new customers you source.
- Location: This is a full-time, office-based role in Sheffield.
