Key Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will:
- Provide holistic and person-centred care, acting as a key worker for several residents.
- Support the orientation and on boarding of new staff members.
- Be vigilant and informed on matters related to health and safety, as well as the welfare of residents and colleagues.
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately to the Person in Charge.
- Participate in activities involving residents and accompany them on outings when necessary.
- Adhere to all home policies, procedures, and the NISCC code of conduct.
- Assist with duties additional to care where necessary.

- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Literacy and numeracy skills.
- Knowledge and ability to use computers and related technology efficiently.
- Willingness to participate in vocational training programmes.
- Candidates must be resident in the UK with the right to work.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience of working in a care setting.
- Relevant Vocational Qualifications (achieved or working towards), such as NVQ2 or 3.
- Registration with the NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council).
