Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking a part-time School Caretaker to join the team in Ashton-under-Lyne. Working at a local school site, you will help ensure the premises are safe, secure, and well maintained for staff and students.

Overview

• Need to be able to work either 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-20:00

• Rotating shifts: One week early shifts, next week late shifts

• Overtime available if required

• £14 per hour + Holiday (weekly pay) + Pension

• Long-term contract with potential for a permanent position

• ASAP start

• Excellent working environment / Team

Duties include:

• Unlocking/locking school premises

• General maintenance and repairs

• Health and safety checks

• Grounds maintenance and tidiness

• Setting up rooms and equipment as needed

• Liaising with contractors and school staff

• Waste management and stock control

Experience needed:

• Previous caretaker or facilities experience

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Hard working, reliable, and proactive

• Immediate availability

• Reliable and committed

• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months
