- Develop, implement, and review robust care plans that promote permanence, safety, and well-being, whether through adoption, Special Guardianship Orders, or long-term fostering.
- Form strong, trusting relationships with children and young people, acting as their advocate and champion.
- Work in partnership with foster carers, residential staff, parents, and other family members, providing support and challenge as needed.
- Liaise effectively with schools, health professionals, CAMHS, and other agencies to ensure holistic support for children in our care.
- Prepare and present reports for Looked After Children Reviews, statutory meetings, and court proceedings as required.
- Identify and manage risks effectively, ensuring safeguarding remains paramount in all aspects of your work.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in line with statutory requirements and local policies.
About You:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and resilient Social Worker who meets the following criteria:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, BA Hons Social Work, MA Social Work).

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
- A child-centred approach, with a genuine passion for improving outcomes for children in care.
- The ability to manage a demanding caseload, prioritise effectively, and work autonomously as well as part of a supportive team.
