Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the learning and development of pupils, including those with SEN.
- Helping to prepare and organise learning materials and resources.
- Supervising students during break times, lunch, and on school trips.
- Providing support to students with reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
- Helping to manage classroom discipline in a positive and consistent manner.
Necessary Skills:
- Strong Organisational Skills: The ability to manage time effectively and help maintain a tidy classroom.
- Patience and a Positive Attitude: Essential for working with children and staff.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build good rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Behaviour Management: A calm and firm approach to encouraging positive behaviour.
