In this role, you will be the frontline of our "Public Realm" initiative, ensuring that Bridgend remains a clean, safe, and beautiful place for everyone. From tackling beach waste removal to responding to weather emergencies, your work ensures high standards of hygiene across the borough.

Your Day-to-Day Working as part of a dedicated team, you will:

• Beautify the Borough: Remove litter and dog fouling, and empty public bins in specified areas.
• Clear the Way: Remove fly-tipped materials, including furniture, electrical items, and hazardous waste like tyres or paint.
• Specialized Maintenance: Assist in cleaning public conveniences, removing graffiti from council assets, and clearing blocked culverts.
• Emergency Response: Provide vital support during flooding or inclement weather, such as clearing snow and ice.
• Public Liaison: Act as a friendly face for the council, responding to general public enquiries with professionalism.
